Local Governments Already Do This …

Requiring the State Legislature to record its public meetings and post the video online isn’t such a new idea. In fact, hundreds of local governments have been doing this for years for their city councils, county boards, school boards, and other agencies.

Some local agencies even go above and beyond by livestreaming video so constituents can watch simultaneously from home.

Imagine if our State Legislature was this transparent.
